SUMMARY:A Sacred and Sound Approach to Happiness\, Session 5: PROTECTION
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, December 3 from 3 – 4:30 pm at the Center at Belvedere\, join Lama Tashi\, Grammy Award-nominated multiphonic chant master and Geshe (PhD equivalent) of H.H. the Dalai Lama’s Drepung Loseling Monastery\, for the second session in his “A Sacred and Sound Approach to Happiness” series. \nThe final session in Lama Tashi’s “A Sacred and Sound Approach to Happiness” series will focus on Tara\, the female bodhisattva who embodies loving kindness\, compassion\, and protection. Tara is the most well known and beloved Tibetan deity and is the female embodiment of enlightenment. Lama Tashi will help us to resonate with her visualization\, affirmation\, meditation\, and mantra. The energy of Tara allows us to release anxiety and fear to cultivate compassion and protection. \nYou may register for this session separately\, or for the entire 5-session “A Sacred and Sound Approach to Happiness” series that Lama Tashi will offer on October 1\, 15\, and 29; November 12; and December 3\, 2023. A 20% discount is available to those who register for the entire series.
